speaking & Workshops

Let’s have the conversations we should have had a long time ago

If you want scare tactics, call someone else. If you want real conversations that make people think differently, let’s talk.

What They Don’t Say Workshops

We talk about consent, sexual assault prevention, how to respond when someone discloses they’ve been sexually assaulted, and bystander intervention in language that people can actually understand and curated for you and your group.

Through conversation and interactive activities, these concepts will stay with people long after the session ends.

Co-Facilitated with Ray epstein

Ray has been organizing to end sexual violence since middle school, after surviving and reporting her own abuse. She’s now the Youth Engagement and Programs Coordinator for I Have The Right To and the Pennsylvania State Director for the Every Voice Coalition, where she co-authored and helped introduce survivor-centered legislation. A Truman Scholar and founding president of Student Activists Against Sexual Assault at Temple University, Ray has been recognized as an “Iconic Philly Woman” for her advocacy and leadership.

She brings lived experience, policy expertise, and survivor-centered advocacy that challenges assumptions and deepens understanding of sexual violence.

Speaking from experience

Shannon speaks from experience, giving voice to the parts of trauma that rarely get named out loud. Her talks are raw yet hopeful, rooted in lived experience and the belief that honesty creates connection. She has a way of saying what most people only think, helping audiences feel seen, understood, and ready to talk about the hard things that matter most.

Whether it’s a keynote, panel, or community event, Shannon tailors every talk to the her audience.

Want something specific? Just ask. If it’s about truth, voice, or impact, it’s probably a fit.
