Organizations We care about & think you should too

  • Callisto

Have you ever wanted to know if your perpetrator assaulted someone else? With Callisto, you can. We’re huge fans of Project Callisto because they’re doing something really powerful for survivors of sexual assault. Their encrypted platform, Callisto Vault, gives survivors a private and secure way to document their experiences and connect with others who might have been harmed by the same perpetrator. Their Matching System uses cryptography to help survivors determine if someone else has named the same perpetrator, and if so, they can connect with a Legal Options Counselor who will guide them through their options. There’s also the Incident Log, which allows survivors to document what happened and process their trauma, all while keeping everything private. Learn more at Project Callisto.org

  • Valor.US

It’s never too late to get support and begin your healing journey. If you’re not sure where to start, you can connect with someone at a crisis center near you.

Go to Valor.Us and click the “Get Help” tab. From there, choose your state and you’ll find a list of local crisis centers you can search by ZIP code. Each center has trained advocates ready to listen, believe you, and connect you with the resources you deserve. Learn more at valor.us/get-help

One of #WeRideTogether's projects, the Out of Bounds series, consists of four short-form PSAs, each of which explores facets of the victim experience, inside and outside the world of sports, and provides insight, language, and metaphor into “what it’s like” to be a victim of sexual abuse or misconduct. Additionally, #WeRideTogether has hosted four longer-form discussions with survivors and subject matter experts to expand the conversation on the topics and nuances in the PSAs.
